free web host

I am a translator!
I would like to upload a webpage to a web host.. Is there any free web host (free as in beer and possibly as in free speech) you can suggest?

A gratis web-host? That'd be rather hard to come across. The only ones I know of give you an odd domain (I.E. "webiste.provider.com') and require you to use a web-builder that uses non-free software such as Flash. I use Arvixe, wich isn't gratis, but is a great web-host. I've had no problems using their GNU/Linux servers for my OwnCloud, email, and such.
Is there a specific reason it must be gratis?

jadedctr - thanks for your reply - it has to be gratis because I'm broke at the moment :( and it has to not require a non-free web-builder. I really don't care about the domain and certainly don't hope to get a domain like "supertramp83.com" for free..
The only one I'm aware of is 000webhost. You can use an FTP program to update websites there. I used to use it, but AT&T inexplicably blocks many of its servers, so I had to switch to something else.
