French Mirror appears down, repositories out of sync

My
sources list contains entries for the French mirror. When using
aptitude to check for updates - 4 updates were reported (3 onhold for my
system). However, upgrading these packages failed.

I proceeded then to update my sources.list (after making a backup) to
the Spanish repository. I informed aptitude of the changes and found
that there were 14 updates available. I then proceeded to upgrade my
system.

Is this a repeat of these issues? Should I re-open them?
