FSFE Open letter "Public money public code" needs signatures

There is a dedicated website for the campaign: https://publiccode.eu/en/openletter/
It is a fair cause to request for code that was purchased with public money to be freely available. But mixing open source and free software is misleading and unjust. The same applies with free and open source licenses.
The case that the organization that took this initiative (FSFE) is "unable to collaborate both with the FSF and any other organisation in which Richard Stallman has a leading position" and the fact that their biggest sponsor is Google, doesn't really convince me, to add my signature, either.
I absolutely agree with the concern about g**gle being their main sponsor but can they reject a sponsorat?
G**gle have so much money that they can easily sponsor any one and any thing in the whole world. If people would turn away from a project or organisation they sponsor, they could easily crush them all.
I think even fsf now endorses fsfe?

My belief is that we, the people, need to fight and stand firmly against big tech and it's influence. I don't know if the will "crush" me by having this stance, but I know for certain that they by abusing their monopoly and power, they are crushing human freedom and democracy. That is the stance I would like an organization that claims that is fighting for freedom to have.

I don't speak on behalf of FSF, and I do not know if they work together with FSFE. Though I feel that FSF has a firmer stance.
