first use ip link to find out the ethernet's name, in my case its enp0s25 instead of the below, which is eth0

nmrpflash -i eth0 -f EX2700-V1.0.1.8.img

use the correct image not the one shown as an example though.

use latest version of the nmrpflash

you need to have your ethernet plugged into your laptop and it should work, im not sure about the chinese version, but I know it worked on the non chinese version.

I assume it works on both. :)

I will submit this help to librecmc too. :)

Tell me if this is helpful to anyone.

Small correction btw,

./nmrpflash -i your-ethernet-name -f your.img

whatever your image is and whatever ip link says your ethernet is.

just a heads up

No one interested? Well, that's a darn shame. :/

Not even one reply? Well, I hope this helps someone in the future. :)

No reply does necessarily not mean no one
is reading your posts.

Which one is newest? Know the TL-WR1043ND? Does
it support vdsl? Vdsl2? Wifi works well about
distances further than 10 yards?

I got a tl wr841nd v8.2. Having adsl the router's
wifi only worked on distances about a couple
of yards. Same result if free or non free system was
put on the router. After I got vdsl, the router
did not work at all. That is why I am reluctant about
getting a free software router.

I personally think the best router is WNDR3800 till Risc-V routers come out by netgear anyways...

And that added advantage of being able to easily unbrick it, makes it even better!

And it also has the most ram of any of the routers supported by librecmc and only two versions both supported. ;)
