Hi,

If I open the virtual machine in GNU Guix and I run Trisquel
there is a package: gparted
but I can´t change anything because it´s part of the running system.
I have got 1. partition 10 GB with Trisquel root
2. Partition /home 10 GB, which is almost emty
3. Partition 10 GB not used

I couldn´t update Trisquel 10 to Trisquel 11 because the disk 1 is full.

With my Guix SD I cant´t enter into the VM and change the size of the
partitions in Trisquel.

So how can I increase the root partition?
I wanted to move the /home partition to the 3. unused partition
and then to use the 2. partition to enlarge the 1. partition

Nothing worked because everything is grey and unchangeable in gparted.

thanks

The way I would do is to start the VM on a Trisquel live iso (in virt-
manager, which is what I use, it is possible add a "CD" which is the live
iso and select to boot on it) and then try gparted from the live iso.

There is no need for virtualization. Just for booting a live system including GParted (Trisquel's live system for instance): https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/starting-installable-live-system
