How do I install jitsi?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I really have no clue how to install things without a repository. I downloaded the .deb file, but I don't know what to do with the thing.

Just follow the instructions from https://jitsi.org/Main/DebianRepository. Simply double-clicking on the deb file will install it (provided the gdebi package is installed).
