How to get icedove attached images to auto-resize

When sending images as attachments it prompts to have the image scaled down in size before sending email. Any way to turn that question off and just have it automatically do it for me? I see a thunderbird add-on called Auto Resize Image, but it's not in the Trisquel repo, so I won't install it for that reason alone. But sometimes there are other simple solutions I miss completely. Maybe you know of one? Thanks!

Do you have any reason to believe it actually raises freedom issues?
No, I do not. But I also take my security to the next level by not installing anything that's not in the Trisquel repo as a matter of personal policy.
