I don't have any GPS installed in my computer. Is there a method to share the location of my computer in waydroid? Some apps will not work without sharing location.

Lots of ideas about that here: https://github.com/waydroid/waydroid/issues/226

Apparently this app is a way to to write in your own location: https://github.com/wesaphzt/privatelocation

On LineageOS or similar, I use this app https://f-droid.org/en/packages/cl.coders.faketraveler/ to set my location. It requires setting it as "Mock location" application in developpers settings.

Thank you for the information. I have installed the GPS emulator app 'Fake GPS' from Google Play store and now I can share my location.

Fake GPS is proprietary software so no one besides its developpers can reliable know what it really does. One known thing of Android proprietary software is to include trackers i.e., third party software libraries that record and report your usage of the software. You can have a look at https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org to see which ones are included in "Fake GPS" that you installed.

However, the list may be incomplete as not all trackers are well known. In addition, tracking of your activity and reporting of your data could be part of the software itself and this is impossible to check reliably (it could be rather sparse, or event-triggered, so difficult to detect). Using apps from F-Droid is a good way to avoid such issues.

Using Fake Traveler I am unable to share my location. The popup window 'For a better experience, turn on device location, which uses Google's location service' shown by the app is not disappearing. Is this because it uses openstreetmap ?
