I'm thinking of Mintifying trisquel

Trisquel has a lot of potential...but I think it would benefit from the enhancements found in Linux Mint...I'm going to try and add those enhancements and see how it turns out stability- and functionality-wise.

One of the main attractions of Trisquel for me is it's libre status. Linux Mint includes quite a few non-free elements "out of the box". I don't see what the point would be of "mintifying" it. If you don't mind non-free, then just install Mint.

I would have to say that Mint is more than just a less free Ubuntu
rehash. They have done interesting things with the added tools - I, for
one, much prefer the Mint menu - the intro material and other features.
I would say that a Free version of Mint would be an extremely
attractive thing.

As far as they are free software, any contribution is welcome. Please
tell us more about what pieces can be used to enhance Trisquel, and
include screenshots if you can.
