Installer freezes while configuring apt

I booted up straight into the installer and it just froze for the longest time. This time I will try it from the live-cd session and see how it goes.
I burned the CD at the lowest speed and verified it, so I imagine the original data is OK.
It seems to work better from the livecd...getting past 82%, where it froze last time...I imagine it will install properly from here.

The live desktop environment and the installer are almost the same,
unless you are running it with a very little amount of ram. At 82% it
connects to the repositories and fetches some data, so it might stop for
some time there.
