Lavabit support is alive and Tor relays are good boys

so I cannot write there anymore. But I have to say that Lavabit has restarted again offering support. In fact, I wrote them and solved my problems. The problem was related to my Evolution settings, and no by going out to internet through the IP of my TOR non-exit relay at all, as I suspected. In particular, I accidentally had deactivated "Server requires authentication", while it was necessary. So, in conclusion:

* Lavabit is offering you support [1]. Before the new Google's change of policy (well explained by EFF here[2]) that basically says that it is going to associate all information that you use on different services to you as a unique user, it can be a good reason to migrate from email service provider, if you cannot have yet your own email-server at home.

* Don't be afraid of setting up a Tor non-exit relay at home. Here [3] you can read how EFF was promoting the installation of Tor non-exit relays for helping the anonymity in the use of internet (They even are said that probably would assist you legally if anomaly you get into problems[4]). You can watch a youtube video for installing a Tor relay at Trisquel [5] and also read other different instructions [6] written by a Trisquel-user on the topic (spanish). I installed it in the computer of my parents, since they waste a lot of time connected to internet (just without powering off the computer) than me, and now they are been very useful contributors to the anonymity of internet!
