Which RePC did you go to? I've been to both. There's a nice sandwich shop not too far from the southern one.

It was the one down by Southcenter. Tukwila.

Sandwich shop? I often stop at a deli that's around the bend but it might be Andover West since RePC moved to Andover East.

This does sound like a fair deal, for a versatile little combo.

It is great to read that Aramo is at home everywhere - but not surprising, Aramo really rocks. Are you using regular MATE, or Mini and LXDE?

"Today I bought this for $50 at a local tech recycling company - RePC and I think I'm in love. I believe the manager said they had more in the back room. It had Manjaro Linux installed on it but I installed Trisquel 11 mini instead. This little laptop has a touchscreen and Aramo picked that up no sweat. My PC has a second hard drive and I have been doing a lot of distro hopping lately and right now I think that Trisquel outshines them all.

I have gotten all the updates and now will spend the rest of the night installing my favorite software and tweaking the settings. Fun fun.

It appears this came out around 2006, I think I saw that is when the Celeron N3150 cpu came out. It has 4 Gb of Ram, a 128 SSD, and an HDMI port which I was happy to see. Not sure if 4 Gb RAM is enough, but I imagine so. It only has an 11.9 inch screen so I think it is a fine replacement for my ancient Asus netbook. It seems the built in wifi may not be compatible but I have a dongle somewhere that will work.

Anyway, just wanted to report on my success. A working touchscreen is a first for me. What do you think, $50? Good deal?"

I'd say it's a good deal. To be honest 4GB RAM should be ok. I'd rather have 4GB RAM and an SSD than 8GB RAM with a HDD. Enjoy !
