I want to make a "free computer". I want to flash Libreboot now. I'm compiling it now. My device is unsupported but I want try to port it. But which files I need to modify.
Device: SAMSUNG RV508 with changed keyboard
Second question:
Do I need to write firmwares to touchpad or mouse? Or this devices works without firmwares?
About my project: I want to make my laptop fully free.
P. S. If my project will success, how to send files to Stallman?

My BIOS idea: FLBIOS (Free/Libre BIOS). And what about BIOS encryption using key/keyfile? Small part must be unencrypted (for requesting key and unencrypting data).

Interesting information Magic Banana. I am always suspicious about things too advanced- big corporations have unjust advancement over the client, and I honestly don't trust them. So I keep it simple, at least at a level that I can control and/or understand/manage. That's way I use old laptops. My emachines e620 is so wonderful!!! All I need is study, learn, program, read and surf (securely) in the web... It feats me perfectly!
