Librebooted Thinkpad T400 SSD recommendations/restrictions

Hi all,

I'm considering to buy a SSD to speed up my librebooted Thinkpad T400.

Have you got any recommendations on what SSD to get?
And, do I have to restrict my self in choosing the SSD to stay fully libre?

What I've found so far in this forum was this thread (https://trisquel.info/en/forum/ssd-vs-hdd-librebooted-t400) but it didn't give any specific suggestions. This blog post (https://p1trson.blogspot.com/2017/01/journey-to-freedom-part-ii.html) recommended a Silicon Power SSD S55 240 GB. Still, I am open for more suggestions or experience reports.

WD Green 480 GB or 1 TB. Extremely high capacity-cost ratio. T400's ICH9M supports only SATA 3 Gb/s, so performance is less important.

@nadebula.1984 Thanks for your recommendation. Recently replaced the HDD with your suggested SSD :)
