Making Desurium Libre

We were having a discussion about FLOSS games in IRC and several topics were raised. Basically no one has a complete PlayDeb repo of just libre games and there's no fully Steam clones since Desurium offers non-free packages.

So rather than re-invent the real I got the idea to request the folks over at Desurium either provide a sever dedicated to fully-free gaming or at least provide the option to filter out the other games and provide libre games by default.

It doesn't look like they had much to say. I don't see a reason why someone couldn't take the desura client and build a libre-only game repo. Tell me, does desura track anything like in game achievements or anything like that? Does it give any kind of a social aspect to the gaming experience or is it purely distribution?
I think it would be cool if we had the option for something like desura to integrate some social features and track points/awards and that sort of thing. Kind of like Xbox live does for people. It would be really awesome if all of that was done in a decentralized manner too.
