While I think that the whole "grav-mass" is the stupidest idea on earth (basically people disrespect Isaac Newton who was a christian, by using his name and work as a way to make the celebration of Christmas appear irrelevant), I don't think it was a bad thing to post it here. It's as if a muslim came here and posted "happy X" annoucing some big moment of muslims, to other fellow muslims in the forum.
Anyway, "Christmas" nowadays have little to do with the birth of Jesus Christ, so, maybe not "going with the flow" is actually a good thing. People get angrier than ever at the stores buying stuff :P
