Notebook temperature

Hi everyone, I've just installed Trisquel 7 on a Lenovo thinkpad x220 intel i5, is 48 degrees a normal temperature for my notebook?

I have a thinkpad x200 (similar to the x220) and left it running for about a hour and one CPU had a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius and the other was at 45 degrees Celsius

48°C is fine as an idle temperature for a laptop.
