Hello,

I do backups by manually copying files via file manager as well as
rsync[1]. My favorite file manager is Dolphin[2]. Sometimes I use
external hard disk drives as the storage, sometimes I use internal ones.
I am also considering to use rclone[3] as well in the future.

Sincerely yours,

Malsasa

PS: I send this as an email to trisquel-users mailing list.

"I send this as an email to trisquel-users mailing list."

It seems to be working that way, except the weird line breaks. Let me try to answer through the forum website and see how that fares.

Well it looks like that post went through. Maybe because it was short enough.

Are you also getting these posts as mailing list messages?

except the weird line breaks

I use evolution for email, using plain text. By default it breaks lines after 72 characters. I am guessing it is so that, if quoting some piece of text and replying once or a few times, it will remain less than 80 characters, which is (was?) the default on certain terminals.

I received Malsasa's message via email but so far not your message.

Indeed line breaks are easy to configure in your email client. This is going to be published on a forum anyway, so turning off auto line breaks may be a good idea.

For now it looks like the best option is to use the forum web interface instead, the mailing list sync seems to be broken.
