Please help I am having issues with my wireless card on my trisquel 7.0

I do believe it could be that my wireless adaptor (in my laptop) provider is not compatible with linux in general or with trisquel ?

also take into account i am fairly new with linux in general

Thank you.

Welcome. Please note that the operating system is really called GNU/Linux though. Please see http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html

What is the make & model of your WiFi card? If you don't know, open the terminal and try lspci.

Ah, that's why. Your WiFi needs proprietary software in order to do anything at all. Trisquel, by its nature, doesn't include any proprietary software in it which is why your WiFi doesn't work. I recommend replacing the WiFi card with something else. If you don't want to open the computer there's an easy option that plugs into a free USB port:
