Several questions...

Good morning.
After 15 minutes of searching for the button to start a post... hahahaha
First of all, congratulations on the project, it's really cool, with a browser, email client, guake, telegram and two terminals it didn't even consume 1 GB. Congratulations indeed.
How long does a version last?
Are some packages maintained by trisquel/gnu linux?
Like the browser? If so, where can I see all the maintained packages?
Can I use the repositories in libre-linux?
Will there be a version without systemd, or a version based on Devuan?
Image attached.
Sorry for so many questions!

Hello!

Indeed the LXDE (Trisquel Mini) "flavor" is very efficient for low spec machines.
OTOH, Telegram signup process has changed over time, pushing to use more invasive and non-free software platforms, so Ecne will drop it.
Trisquel is following the Ubuntu LTS releases, so in theory they should last ~5 years, depending on how much time is required to publish the next version.
For example Aramo (T11) based on 22.04 will be supported 'til 2027, Nabia (T10) based on 20.04 will end support in a few months this year, Ecne (T12, still a WIP) based on 24.04 should be supported 'til 2029 and so on for future releases.
> Are some packages maintained by trisquel/gnu linux?
Yes, there is a large collection of packages and tools maintained by Trisquel
Please take a look at: https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/

Not in the foreseeable future.
