Here's my reasons ....
I like Trisquel's simplicity, the look and feel, and that everything is where I expect it to be. Trisquel is a great operating system for me, because I use my computer to do the basics. like browse the web, send email and use office apps. For all these Trisquel is so quick and easy.
I love Trisquel because it is one of the only operating systems (less than
ten) that respect my Freedom. :-)

Because I wanted to use a fully free distribution and come from an Ubuntu background. gNewSense was sluggishly developed and unattractive and was going to be Debian-based in the future. BLAG is collecting dust. Ututo and Venenux lack an English-speaking community or documentation. Kongoni is Slackware-based, which is a no-go in and of itself.
Trisquel, on the other hand, really did the trick. And when fully free distributions become a major force in the GNU/Linux world, I have no doubt that Trisquel will be largely responsible for it. I'm committed to using the distribution, reporting bugs, making art, writing documentation, and being involved in the community to make that happen.

BLAG has retaken speed. Version 120 000 is about to be released and version
90 000 repositorioes are up to date. They are working very hard to document
aplications in a way that will serve all libre distros.
I personally have a good feeling for Ututo. It has a lot of potential.
Anyway, the best for the end user is Trisquel acording to my personal
experience.

Because Trisquel is Free Software and updated well.
I agree with DanTrisquel. It's simple, clean, and elegant in function and appearance. I've used Ubuntu for a couple years (plus a little Fedora) and use my computer much the same; for browsing, email, office documents, and music. I also like that it doesn't install mono (which I prefer to avoid) or it's apps by default.
