Trisquel 8 Alpha Will Upgrade

Hello everyone, I am wondering will the current (as of today) Trisquel 8 Alpha; upgrade to stable via, "apt-get dist-upgrade"? Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I have no experience with installing alpha GNU/Linux distros. Thanks!
