Actually, there's nothing particularly wrong with making Trisquel look like an outdated and ugly proprietary system (it's not like it makes it that proprietary system). Your biggest mistake that I can see is having Minecraft, which is proprietary software, on your system. Have you ever tried Minetest? It's a Minecraft-like game that focuses on having a good modding API rather than features, and it's quite fun (though I don't personally know how it compares to Minecraft, since I've never played the latter).

I will have to try minetest out. I am planning on changing the icons also to reflect my OS more also. I enjoy pixel-art icons so I don't think that the old OS's are necessarily ugly.
