Should I only add those Awen repositories to the Dwyn repositories that are already in sources.list? Because I also commented (with the #) all the Dwyn repositories, because I thought I didn't need those anymore. I updated many packages (about 300 MB), but about half of all the entries were unchecked, so they werent't updated. For example, Abrowser is still version 3.0.18 and the Trisquel entries in Grub still shows "Trisquel 3.0". I can choose to do a partial upgrade, but then it says "An upgrade from 'awen' to 'karmic' is not supported with this tool."
Can I fix this somehow?
Thanks in advance!

You should have waited for the updater to show you the available
updater. Enter the #trisquel channer at irc.freenode.org (you can do it
by opening xchat) and ask me there (I'm quidam). Maybe we can fix it.
I had the same problem and finally installed Awen from CD.
I thought there was not going to be an autoupdate button, so i suggest that in the next release announcement this is said clearly.
Regards.
The name is Awen. Arwen is something rather different. :)
You're not required to edit anything manually. It should auto-update to the next version using Update Manager, just like in Ubuntu. But for me it isn't working yet, either. I'm going to ask quidam the next time he's on IRC why it's not working yet.

You can do it now using the graphical update tool.

Hi,
I ran into problems while updating to Awen. See my previous post in this topic.
I would like to add to that post that suddenly openoffice.org writer does not show any icons: for example the bold, italic and underline buttons are spelled out in words, and so are all the rest of the buttons. Seems strange to me.
Can I somehow undo the updates and update properly? Otherwise I have to burn and install Awen from scratch.
I don't have your bug on my OpenOffice.org, I suggest you simply re-install OpenOffice, perhaps using one of their .debs.
I've seen this before where an icon set isn't installed, for example, Tango:
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org-style-tango
or whichever of the openoffice.org-style-* packages suits you.
Hope this helps!
It's fine now, quidam helped me update to Awen. I manually updated to early, which I think screwed up OOo.
Gnoob
Glad to know it! :)
