Volume Controls Missing from 5.5 Daily Build for 08/March

Hi,

When running the subject build, I notice that the gnome volume control
applet is missing. Furthermore, when I try to use my shortcuts,
assigned in gnome control center, for setting volume, nothing happens.
I have to change it in the sound settings page on gnome-control-center.
Do you plan to add the gnome-volume-control applet, or is this to be
left to the user?
