Why Assistive Technology option at boot dropped in 6?

Hi, Firstly, congratulations on a very well built and stable distribution. I was a bit upset to see that the 'try live with Assistive Technology' was dropped with the release of 6 - a lot easier for someone with a sight impairment to try without having to no about F6 option. Is it likely to be implemented once more in future releases? (I also preferred the wallpaper of 5.5 at boot time (splash) compared to the new one) and the music matched the wall perfectly!

This paragraph may explain the difference:
Accessible by default
In the quest for an improved experience for disabled users that we started some releases ago we used to make an special version (the International live DVD) that came with the digital ramps turned on by default. In this release we took that idea one step further and now all the images are equally accessible for visually impaired users: if while booting the live cd you don't touch any key and let the 30 seconds countdown finish, the screen reader will be on when the desktop is launched."
Works for me; one just has to be patient; I think the count-down is about minute? What's more, the installed system has the orca screen reader turned on, even for the gdm greeter. I'd like to see this accessibility carried over to the net install, as has been done with Debian Wheezy. They use the Speakup screen review for the native console; user types 's', at boot, the console starts talking.
Hi guys, thanks for the update. What if you want to change your keyboard layout? I think most distros these days are set to US cos that is the nature of things - would hitting the keys to change keyboard layout prevent the Assistive bit? I was also surprised to see that SONAR is based off Ubuntu 13.04 as the guy behind it came on to OATS-sig (Open Assistive Technology Software-special interest group) saying it would be a joint venture with Trisquel but appears not - what happened with that? I purchased a recent copy of LXF with SONAR on the front cover and was bitterly disappointed in it as it would not announce the icons on the Unity bar!
I think you can change your keyboard after the orca screen reader starts talking; that is, assuming you've wited for it to start automatically. I think doing anything during the timeout causes the clock to stop? Regarding Sonar, the one based on Ubuntu 13.04 may be the last one based on Ubuntu STS. The next Sonar, due very soon, is based on Manjaro, a derivative of Arch. Having the latest software has become a greater priority of the project than being libre.
I don't like the description in the Sonar page:
If you are a new user to GNU/Linux you must understand that GNU/Linux is not a replacement of proprietary operating systems but an alternative. Since it is an alternative there are some differences between GNU/Linux and the proprietary operating systems. So there is going to be a small learning curve to understand how GNU/Linux operates and is structured. There are some simalarities between the two so it is not like you will have to start from the beginning and forget everything you knew about the proprietary system you are coming from. Both systems do share some simalarities. The best feature of Sonar is that it is Free software and if you depend of assistive technology this is the best option for you. Free software gives you 4 Freedoms that proprietary software doesn't give you,, in fact it restricts you. If you want to understand Free software then visit the FSF website to understand it completely because the FSF is where Free software began.
Alternative? Why? Many persons only use free software, like us in Trisquel community.
As written, that add copy makes Sonar sound like it's something o play with as a hobbyist, and that is to be secondary, at best, with a commercial option for "real work". The two most-visible members of the Sonar community supposedly give free software priority; why that isn't good enough for the rest? That intro needs rewriting.
