Hi,

I'd like to use my webcam but when I plug it, my wlan0 switchs off and I can't up it. So I can use neither my webcam nor internet.

Here you can see my kernel's answers after I plug my webcam.

If you help me to solve this problem I will marry you and love you forever... (if you want).

Thanks,
arkorgs

P.S.: with ubuntu 10.04 it works well and with w*****s also.

One easy thing to try that might fix it is to try a newer Linux-libre kernel.

If you want to compile it yourself, go to it's homepage http://www.fsfla.org/ikiwiki/selibre/linux-libre/

If you'd like a compiled binary, one easy service is jxself's http://jxself.org/linux-libre/

Lembas... It works now :)

I installed the kernel version 3.10.18-gnu with linux-libre.
But I can't understand how it is possible that plugging my webcam switchs wlan0 off...

Thank you so much.

Glad to hear that!

One thing I've learned about computers is they're semi-mystical devices.
