The command eject -i1 is supposed to disable the cd hardware eject button. It doesn't.
(It did in 5.0.)
There is a workaround: comment out the ENV{DISK_EJECT_REQUEST}... line in /lib/udev/rules.d/60-cdrom_id.rules and restart udev with sudo service udev restart.
Now eject -i works as advertised. Dunno if something else is broken.
