OpenSUSE has created https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/mozilla:Factory/MozillaFirefox/firefox-kde.patch?expand=1 a few href=https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/mozilla:Factory/MozillaFirefox/mozilla-kde.patch?expand=1 patches for Firefox to enhance the experience when using KDE. These enhancements include using KDE file dialogs and (more importantly) using the default application configured in KDE when opening files.

Trisquel does not include these patches in Abrowser, so //trisquel.info/en/users/legimet Legimet has created a https://launchpad.net/~legimet/+archive/abrowser-kde PPA containing builds of Abrowser with these patches.

To get this patched version of Abrowser, run the following:

$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:legimet/abrowser-kde
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install abrowser abrowser-kde-support

If you use the Oxygen theme, installing the patched oxygen-gtk theme from the PPA will make Abrowser look native:

$ sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-oxygen

The packages are available for Toutatis and Belenos. Please note that installing abrowser-kde-support by itself won't do anything; you need the patched version of Abrowser itself.
