I wouldn't recommend it though, I don't think is in no way free software. But I may be wrong. I just fount out that a SMBX's re-implementation was made that is free software, so you never know.
Five Nights at Freddie's is proprietary software. I recommend you find some better-- and free-er-- games.
I just tried Minetest and is awesome. Although, the reps version is a little outdated.
The PPA (ppa:minetestdevs/stable) has the newest stable v0.4.12, if you'd like to install it.
(Shameless self-advertising-- I've got a server set up at jadedmeta.net:7357-- Yes, I know, I'm a terrible person.)
From a practical point of view, if a free alternative doesn't exist yet,
it might be possible to run a Trisquel instance inside KVM which would run the game in Wine or something like that.
The point here is to sandbox the game so that any kind of data leak would theoretically lead nowhere.
