At times, Trisquel website goes off-line.

I have observed this behaviour when someone is editing Trisquel wiki, posting comments or fixing bug reports. In fact, the site went off-line for about half-a-day when a debate broke in between Chris and Francis.
Although the site usually comes alive within half-an-hour, this is really frustrating for a novice user. A screenshot related to this issue is attached herewith.
I humbly request Trisquel website maintainer(s) to do the needful.
With Regards,

hi mate!
That does happen indeed. Not that often for me though..
When that happens I open pidgin and write "site is down!!" to the excellent aklis in the #trisquel channel in IRC and he always fixes it in few minutes :)
cheers
What's your thoughts on filing a bug report?
There are many possible reasons for the site to be down. I guess the problem and its solution are different every time. That is why I do not think it makes sense to file a bug report.
That said, I am surprised: despite accessing Trisquel's site (more specifically, Trisquel's forums) a lot, I do not recall it being down. I must have been lucky.
It's not been down for me much either. I suppose I've been lucky with all the
big complaints the good peeps of Trisquel have had- I never had any problems
with Abrowser, IceCat, or Linux. The website has never been down for me either.
It goes offline everyday around 1 am EST(12-2). I noticed it since joining the forums. I've pm'd jxself everyday for a week about it once, pm'd quidam and aklis about it before on irc. I don't think they feel its serious, but I find it so mysterious. I've accused malicious hackers on irc of doing it, it really freaks me out. I have no idea why it happens. Maybe something running scheduled on the server, maybe a host issue.
Usually it will only stay offline for like 10 mins. But its always around the same time, i find it bizarre. One time my home internet went down at 1 am for a couple mins and I immediately thought it was connected to trisquel because thats how often trisquel site goes offline for me at that time lmao.
"I've pm'd jxself everyday for a week about it once"
That's almost funny because I've had you on ignore for almost three months so haven't seen a thing. I don't have any control over the Trisquel website anyway so couldn't do anything about it even if I had.
Myabe its why you put me on ignore then, You basically acted like you didn't give a shit or even believe me which is why I kept messaging you every night it went down for 10 minutes. I bet everytime I messaged you, you didn't even bother to try and load the site or contact whoever was in charge of it. You told me it was probably some cron job and to ask aklis. "Not My Job, diff department"(mentality) ..... I highly doubt you don't remember...lol If you do then i'm sure glad i'm not using your kernel anymore. You probably forget what your patching it with...lol

Why haven't you asked aklis then? And how would you react if a random person would keep on messaging you on a problem you cannot do anything about? I would react just like jxself: give the name of the person in charge, then ignore.
Beause he was acting like I was lying or mistaken, he didn't believe me.
And aklis isn't always online as much as jxself, I believe I did notify him once before. I also messaged quidam many times about it.
I don't think it's very cool for you to act or talk that way. The operating system is free. Access to the community site / forum is free. The support and help you get is free. Yet, it cost money to run and maintain the website. It costs money to pay for the web hosting and or web server. I wouldn't bite the hand that feeds you.
Confirmed have had quite some Identical Drupal php data file errors/offline,recently
Under Tor or VPN
site was offline for 10 minutes an hour ago.
this happened while entering an"issues"
Yea, it's been happening pretty often as of late. It seems to be offline from ten minutes to as long as a few hours.
This stuff happens, Drupal can be finicky.
I'm working for an organisation that runs a Drupal 7 site and we have also been experiencing regular downtime. What version of Drupal does the Trisquel site use? If it's also Drupal 7, there may be a bug in Drupal core, or some module we both use.
It may be worth creating an issue on Drupal.org but my recent experience is that they are too busy to respond to issues. Perhaps because their attempts to get the Drupal 8 release out the door are taking up all their attention?
I don't think it has to do with a new drupal release, its been going down regularly every night since I joined trisquel 18 weeks ago. I noticed it immediately, Noone seems to care though. Maybe it is indeed bugged code, which should scare the shit out of everyone imo.
I'm a computer noob, but I've just visited the site in a long while and had some temporary issue. Usually it takes a while and then the internet browser says the connection timed out, when a site is not reachable; but just once it showed an error message by Drupal. Again I'm a noob, so not sure if this information is significant.

I'm seeing a lot of down time. :-/
A lot of down time....
Everyday in afternoon as on time zone +8000..
Down again........for a short while
0730 ETC
Down 0800 CET 0830..Downtime getting longer on an average of 15minutes
Enought to read the Drupal documentation ....
Site offline at exact same time as previous
The correct CET time for both offline
(01.10.2016 & 01/16/2016 )
were precisely 0646 CET Time
Does this suggest server"programmed reboot"?
