A version support dilemma

I'm a simple user who believes in free software.
Reading my posts you can easily discover that my IT knowledge is almost
zero and that I prefer using livecds.
I have been using livecds GNU-Linux operating systems exclusively since
2010, Trisquel Belenos since March 2018 and switched to Flidas shortly
after it was launched.
I considered Flidas the best live cd operating system I had ever used
and when Etiona appeared I was somewhat disappointed because
I didn't find in it some of Flidas' excellent features.
Because Flidas security support is arriving to its end, I would like to
know if it is possible to only incorporate to my Flidas liveCD the
components that make it Etiona supportable.
In other words my questions should be:
Is it possible to partially upgrade my Flidas livecd?
How can I incorporate to it the security supports of Etiona without
loosing the excellent features of Flidas?
Helping me to find an answer to these questions is helping to promote free software.
Thank you for your time.

Be specific. Maybe the developers would like your input. Which features are you missing?

Maybe someone in the community can tell you how to add something you find missing. Hopefully, the list of packages available expands over time.

I was wondering how do you update a LiveCD? Do you use a Live-CD-Creator program from time to time to create new versions?

Since you are booting always from a LiveCD I might start using Etonia sometimes to begin to figure out how to do what I need to do with it.

@Geshmy

My sincere excuses for not having answered your post before.
I was about to go into details about the causes on my user profile but finally decided not to make it public and only PM them to you if you think that not doing so endangers our friendly relation.

Thank you for your good advice.
Under the circumstances, I think I will have to insist with Etiona and specifically report to the developers if I don't manage to figure out how not to loose Flida's good items.
I must admit that for the same reasons that I delayed my response to your post I haven't found enough time time to investigate Etiona as I would have liked.

I have not an answer to your questions.
So far, I had never felt in the need of doing such a thing and that was why I made that sort of questions in my original post.
