What Free Software can I use for me to have a desktop background that plays a slide show of pictures? You know, like the feature that Windows have? Thanks!
KDE's Plasma desktop.
How about doing it with Trisquel's default DE? That's what I'm using right now. There is a KDE Plasma version that is surely stable for use with Trisquel right (Triskel?) ? But AFAIK, that isn't as updated as the official package, the one that you can get from KDE website. If that's the case, if I use the latest package from the KDE site, will that be stable? Won't I have any problems? Also, instead of downloading the latest release from the KDE site, could I just install Triskel (the one from the repos) and do a dist-upgrade or upgrade so I get the same latest release from the KDE site? Or won't I be able to get that?
