Description
On the main page of our website the definition of Trisquel is:
--Trisquel GNU/Linux is a fully free operating system for home users, small enterprises and educational centers.
Some of us reckon the correct definition should be:
--Trisquel is a fully free distribution (distro) of the GNU/Linux operating system for home users, small enterprises and educational centers.
explanation: Trisquel, Ubuntu, Debian, Gnewsense etc etc .. are different distributions of one same operating system, that is GNU/Linux.
Trisquel is not an independent OS. Just as every distro out there (there are 1000 and more) Trisquel is based on the GNU/Linux OS !!
Thanks for your support! And thanks to Trinux for originally pointing this out in the spanish forum!
