Sweet, if I only have a thumb drive. Well, I do actually, but it i3 installed, and locked, and I have not figured out any way to format it without going into Windows. And I am not sure how to do it then. I believe the guy who gave it to me said that it is looking for an older version of U3, and you can't install U3 without the drive..

Thanks Tom! I will try this out, as soon as I locate that drive...
Excellent. Must try this weekend. Have some folks that would be very interested in some conversations around this.
Couldn't wait for the weekend. Opportunity to promote the new Trisquel-Sugar release tomorrow. It looks very good. Impressive work. It's good to try to twin track the software in the community. Slaine or Taranis for parents learning about computers and software freedom and Sugar for the kids. It's not always culturally appropriate to merely focus on children through OLPC and expect that this will cause parents to want or to be better able to learn. For some in more traditional cultures, this is just another form of colonisation and creates another generation of children stolen from their parents and grandparents. It's great that you can introduce the parents and grandparents to something straightforward like the GNOME DE and the kids to Sugar. Of course, who knows what GNOME 3.0 will mean for all of this. Anyway, good work!
