I'd love to upgrade my home network to 802.11ac, but I haven't found any adapters that could be compatible with Trisquel and the libre kernel.

Hopefully I don't have to wait 10 years for free support. It took forever for there to be 802.11n support via the Atheros adapters.

Good luck waiting 10 years of WIFI martyrdom, I hope someones recommends you for a badge of extreme pain..

If you choose to stay with the Legacy WIFI, then I'll recommend you the one the penguin store sells.

If you choose to venture from your crib of libre, to AC invisibility, Ill recommend you, to start reading real carefully and choose what is ac BANDWIDTH, and what specs you are looking forward. There is a lot of good excellent AC routers in the 1700 and 1900 ac class, the problem is technology itself is fast developing and evolving when it comes to routers and budget is critical always.

If that is too much for you, and You want to keep using your Libre perfume, then is your decision.

Any questions, you already know, how to find me.
