Hello,

I'm looking for a desktop software to backup contacts, sms and mms from android phone on linux (like fonepaw / fonedog / wondershare would do on windows).

Thanks in advance,

This doesn't really seem to be a question about Trisquel...

I looked on the F-Droid website and found several free software programs. Maybe they would be helpful?

One is this as I say there are several. So explore around already. :)

I think he meant a program installed in the computer that would make a full backup of the phone (some commercial options exist that do that kind of thing in Windows).
The way you suggest doing it is simpler in my opinion. Thanks for the link, might be helpful for me in the future!

Just to say that I tried it and it worked very well with several thousands of SMS.

"While it is true that those who call the system “Linux” often do things that limit the users' freedom, such as bundling nonfree software with the GNU/Linux system or even developing nonfree software for such use, the mere act of calling the system “Linux” does not, in itself, deny users their freedom."
