Blender keeps crashing
Hi,
Does anyone here use Blender on Trisquel 5.5?
Whenever i run it, it crashes and along with it the taskbar & icons also disappear and then reappear after sometime.
I do, regularly, and it's stable on my system. But I use the binaries provided at www.blender.org.
Tried that, it still wont work. Did you had to manually upgrade any dependency?
I don't install or configure anything additional.
I have installed Blender on three computers running Trisquel 5.5. It's used regularly on them without too much issues. All three computers have different GPUs – AMD Radeon, Nvidia GeForce and Intel GMA. The most problematic is the one with the AMD GPU, since it does not provide 3D acceleration, but it's still usable because of the fast CPU. The Nvidia GPU has 3D acceleration, but also some graphical artifacts, but nothing obstructive. The Intel one is little slow, but good as a whole.
