Boot slowdown
Release 11.0, Aramo 64-bit
Kernel Linux 5.15.0-101-generic x86_64
MATE 1.26.0
Since the last update there seems to have been a slight slowdown in the boot sequence.
Could this be due to a kernel update or software updates ?
I think the last two updates were for software only.
Maybe I should update security only ?
Thoughts please. :)
To graphically analyze what takes time during the init:
$ systemd-analyze plot > systemd.svg
"systemd.svg" can then be opened with Eye of MATE or any other viewer that understands SVG.
Thanks for the help.
One thing that doesn't need to start on power up is bluetooth, 'blueman-mechanism.service' 8.388s, so how can this be taken off the list at boot up ?
This morning the startup seemed a bit faster so I've applied todays updates already.
