Hi

I have Win7 on my laptop. I installed Trasquel 4.0 but after finished installing the system reboot but it didn't show the boot options and now I automatically log into Trasquel everytime.

Can someone tell me how to correct this problem?

Edit /etc/default/grub to change if the boot options are displayed. If
an installed operating system is not listed, "sudo update-grub" should
help.

I believe it should wait longer if other operating systems are
detected (and listed by update-grub), but changing the
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT or GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET could change it
otherwise.

HI Michal

I opened the file but didn't know what to change. Then I went to terminal and run the command "update-grub" and there it showed that it had detected Windows 7 and Windows Vista loaders and I can now see boot options screen.

But now there is another problem. When I select Windows 7 it restarts every time after showing "starting windows" screen and do not reach login screen.

I have same problem with Ubuntu dual boot as well.

Any answers for this issue?

Thank you
