Broken system after update
I installed updates. Then, many icons are "broken". I cannot screenshot it (error, 0 bytes).
Icons:
Folder: text file
TXT file: none
"Umount", many buttons, many objects: empty image.
Running application: window (default icon)
I need to restore system.
P. S. I speak Russian (for helpers).
P. P. S. Some applications don't working correctly. My wallpaper is blue screen. Sorry for bad English.
It is only GUI bug. With console, I have bug too (I can't edit GRUB settings, but my username and password are correct.
System settings: I don't see many icons, but see text.

Hey! I had that same problem a while ago. There is no fix. I had to format and reinstall. It's a bug in Trisquel. I wish I could report it but I don't know how to figure out what caused it. So it will probably never be fixed.
Did you do do apt-get upgrade and your system broke? This might be because apt-get upgrade is dumb and will not resolve some new packages when it upgrades everything. It is much better to use apt-get dist-upgrade.
I used graphical tool (with translation error, Trisquel 7.0 = Ubuntu 7.0).
Reinstall system? I need guide, because I can "destroy" it again. I want to have all updates.
P. S. I installed some updates, then reboot (I see bugs before reboot). Then I write $(sudo apt-get upgrade), I see some updates.

Yeah, do not use apt-get upgrade. Open Synaptic and choose "upgradeable" on the left side, or use update-manager.
Apt-get upgrade can sometimes break your install.
