sudo mkdir -pv /hyperbola && sudo mount /dev/sda15 /hyperbola && sudo pacstrap /hyperbola openrc bash filesystem && sudo chroot /hyperbola
# Keyrings migration commands from Parabola not to detailedly list here ... https://wiki.hyperbola.info
pacman -Syu --noconfirm --force --needed sddm sddm-kcm systemsettings xfce4 xfce4-goodies iceweasel-uxp

These were my first few commands new-coming to Hyperbola, as recommended by CalmStorm. Hyperbola sounds nice for me, but not for free software newbies. CalmStorm do you have ideas to make Hyperbola more newbies friendly? :)

This question seems like it would be more appropriate for the Hyperbola list/forum for than Trisquel's. However, my suggestion would be to look into Manjaro. I don't recommend using Manjaro because it is not a FSDG distro, but it's the only Arch-derivative I'm aware of that is beginner friendly. Some of their work, in particular their graphical installer, might be useful to Hyperbola or Parabola.

Well, this is complicated and prone to debate as it interferes with the
KISS philosophy.

Anyway, there's nothing to lose by asking, I guess.

Best regards.

De-obfuscations are needed to ship the more simple GUI installers. Try to instruct the GUI installers to only install the base system and a single minimalistic GUI shell like LXQt (or MATE at your own) even a single window manager. :)

Here is for any non-Trisquel free software topics, in the term "General free software talk".
For Trisquel troubleshooting I always go to "Trisquel users".

An Arch fork named Artix, is a small and newbies friendly Arch fork without systemd. Also provides Calamares for GUI installation.
Parabola also already has Calamares graphical installer in the [pcr-testing] pool (https://parabola.nu/packages/calamares), this already has taken usage in the MATE (LXDE) "complete" ISO installers.
