Cannot Configure VPN
I click on Network Manager, VPN Connections, Configure VPN.
All the options to add or edit a VPN are greyed out.
I have tried sudo aptitude install network-manager-gnome
No packages are installed.
By the way, I updated this Tirsquel 5.5 about an hour ago.
What can I do to configure the VPN?
Thank you!
sudo aptitude install network-manager-gnome

From what is essentially a base install, you just need to do the following:
sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn
sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn-gnome
I think the first one is installed by default, but the "gnome" one was
not. That should enable the Add button.

Installing the network-manager-openvpn-gnome package did the trick (network-manager-openvpn was already installed). Thanks!
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install install network-manager-vpnc

E: Unable to locate package install
Please read the error message and *try* to solve your problem by yourself. aptitude and apt-get say:
E: Unable to locate package install
It is simply because you typed "install" twice (the second is therefore considered a package name).
As for the output of 'sudo aptitude install network-manager-gnome', it does not do anything because network-manager-gnome already is on your system.
Your software sources seem to be a mess. Can you show us the output of:
$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list
Thank you for your help, Magic Banana!
I have accessed the VPN configuration tool now. :)
I am sorry about not reading the output. I am not very good at it.
Here is the output:
cat /etc/apt/sources/list
cat: /etc/apt/sources/list: No such file or directory
Here is the content of /etc/apt/sources.list

You have changed your software sources since 13:11, haven't you? APT was contacting a Dutch mirror: http://nl.archive.trisquel.info/
Your /etc/apt/sources.list looks fine.
Yes, I did a choose best mirror test and it selected the us mirror
Thank you for looking Magi
