Cannot sign into Firefox sync in IceCat

Hi everyone,
I can't seem to sign into Firefox sync in IceCat. I know i've got the correct password and everytime I try to sign in it just says "Working" and then "Unexpected error".
Does anyone know a way around this or a way to fix it?

I am a translator!
it is a well known bug that affects the latest versions of firefox. If you search the net and also this forum you'll find a lot of guys complaining about this. As far as I know no one here got a solution
