Changed repository mirror, but old address remains
Hi,
I changed the repository mirror from the main mirror (https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/) to the Swedish mirror.
However, the old address is still present in sources.list
I know that the last two lines are commented out and therefore aren't used, but line four is not commented out.
It looks like this:
# Trisquel repositories for supported software and updates
deb https://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/trisquel/packages/ flidas main
deb-src https://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/trisquel/packages/ flidas main
deb https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-security main
deb-src https://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/trisquel/packages/ flidas-security main
deb https://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/trisquel/packages/ flidas-updates main
deb-src https://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/trisquel/packages/ flidas-updates main
# deb https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-backports main
# deb-src https://archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-backports main
Can I just remove the line with the old address? I suppose the flidas-security repository in the following line is just the same, isn't it? (even if it's named "deb-src")
Please help me with this. Thank you

The "deb" line is for binaries, whereas the "deb-src" line is for source
code. I would not delete the "deb" line. Instead, change the URL to
match the other lines. I'm not sure why it didn't get changed
automatically.
Thank you, I didn't know that the src refers to source code.
I followed your advise and everything seems alright.
Just sudoedit the /etc/apt/sources.list and manually replace the "archive.trisquel.info" instance with whatever is appropriate. When I initially tried Trusquel 8, I encountered the same problem when I used the "Software Sources" GUI to setup repositories. So I manually edited the configuration file.
However, you can comment out the "deb-src" instances if you don't wish to build from source code, which will save some network traffic for you.
BTW, I wonder whether Ubuntu's "main" and "universe" (both free/libre) repositories can be used as well.
