I would like to know what is the difference of a clean install of Trisquel10 or doing a full-upgrade of Trisquel9?
Which is better?
I did the backup, so I am set. Thank you for your answers.

After an upgrade of the distribution, you have all the packages you installed on top on Trisquel 9's default selection that will be there. If there has been no new version released since Trisquel 9, they will not be downloaded/reinstalled. On the other hand there is a greater probability that something goes wrong, but I see no good reason to not try the upgrade first. If you go for a clean install, choose a "Something else" type of installation to define /home as your existing filesystem that you do *not* want to format, to not have to use your backup.

I have a full disk encryption on my SSD, but thanks for the tip for future thinkering.
Still wanna know a little bit more on the comparison of this two methods.
Any links?

I did the full-upgrade. It was a little bit messy. Problems with dependencies (didn't do a screen shot). I had to do a dpkg --configure -a to fix the problems with package manager, then I did the full-upgrade again and it worked. Still my QEMU system was wrecked so I had to reinstall it, other than that, oh yes my conky changed font for what ever the reason :), everything seems to be normal. Thank you for your support. There is so little information on the net about this two methods, so I had to ask the community to provide some more technical info. So if anyone feels he can contribute with more information's on comparison, please do, for the next one who will come to this post.

Strangest thing happened (if anybody is reading this :) ). I randomly tested my internet download speed and found out that is on 50% less than it suppose to be. I checked on the other system and the speed was all right. The only thing that was changed since I have done the speed test that was ok, was the full-upgrade of the Trisquel 9. So hardly, I did the clean install. First thing I did was of course the speed test, my thoughts were "ok , here goes nothing" but the speed of download was on 100%.
What could have been the cause of this?

It doesn't make sense that one type of upgrade over another would have any impact on your internet speeds.

I know... I called the cable provider and they were here and checked the speed on their pc and it was good...
Trust me I was stunned with the issue, but that's what happend.

Now I have another problem. I installed qemu and in virtual machine manager it gives me only the options for containers so I can not add my VM's virtual disks, any help would be appreciated. I think i need some libvirt package but I don't know which one.
