Hello everybody.
Installed Trisquel-Mini 7.0 32 Bita, who besides come with LXDE also has Openbox.
Openbox is an interesting option to use little memory, but would like to set up, putting on the desktop a menu, a panel and a wallpaper.
But I do not know how to do.
Someone could help.
Hugs.

I use the tint2 panel and change backgrounds with nitrogen on openbox. Both are in the repos.

To change the openbox menu, edit ~/.config/openbox/menu.xml

Thanks for the tips Lembas.

Only I do not know how to install tint2 and nitrogen?
You need is the Openbox to these facilities?
And how should I change the openbox menu, ~ / .config / openbox / menu.xml ??

It will be the first time that these changes do why I am with those doubts.

There are many ways to install packages (apt-get, aptitude, synaptic) e.g.sudo apt-get install tint2 nitrogen

You can edit the file with any text editor you prefer. (e.g. nano or leafpad) You might want to make a backup copy of it first. Here's official docu http://openbox.org/wiki/Help:Contents#Menus

aaaah the pleasure to install using only apt (no get)..
and those colors in the terminal and the bar telling you the progress.. aaaaah..
and the even sweetest pleasure of using apt update to update, displaying the info All packages are up to date

Hi,

I don't use neither Openbox nor LXDE but, judging by your
e-mail, I want to thank you and all Brazilians who are finally
using free operating systems.

Greetings from a Brazilian Trisquel user.

Respectfully, Adonay.
Have a nice day.

My openbox user personal opinion.
The beauty of openbox it’s to use this windows manager without nothing. You can choose the open applications with the key “Alt+Tab” (you can change it in .config/openbox/rc.xml I use “Ctrl+Tab” in my laptop) without panel you will need to replace “network-manager” with “wicd”. For the battery I use this command “xterm -fg white -bg black -fa 'Monospace' -fs 10 -e watch --interval=5 acpi -V” like shortcut. If you want use things like panels better LXDE.

Hello everybody.
I managed to install Tint2 and Nitrogen.
I have already put the nitrogen in the autostart file, thus entering the Openbox already appears the taskbar.
Regarding the Nitrogen are you not showing the options to Add any wallpaper. When you open the wallpaper with folder, does not options.
Follows the screenshot of the desktop as the tint2.

I managed to put a wallpaper with Nitrogen follows the screenshot.
In the autostart file, you need to set the path for the wallpaper file like this:
nitrogen ~ / Pictures
Thank you all for help.
