crimping tool and cat 5e patch cable
I have an old cat 5e ethernet lead some 8 m long that was otherwise good but was in need of new plugs at both ends (the locks were broken), so I bought a crimping tool, some yellow cable boots and modular connectors. Here's the result.
I watched some guidance videos first and then went ahead with the job. The cable seems to work as intended (I have no cable tester).
