Hi all! I was wondering why isn't Trisquel in the Debian census? You can find the list of debian derivatives here https://wiki.debian.org/Derivatives/Census. I think that Trisquel should do an application in order to being in the debian census, this would bring benefits to both Trisquel and Debian. What's your opinion?

I would think it would be obvious: Trisquel isn't based on Debian. It's based on Ubuntu.

And if you to try to say "Well Ubuntu is based on Debian so indirectly then Trisquel is based on Debian too" then let me come back and say: "Well Trisquel is based on Ubuntu which is based on Debian which is GNU" so why isn't everyone working on a GNU Census? Anyway, they probably only want things that are directly based on Debian (i.e., one hop away, not two hops away like Trisquel) and that as the number of hops and thus variations increase as you get derivations on top of derivations on top of derivations, the less Debian-like they become and thus the less useful this is.

Forget about Debian. What's about Devuan? It's like Debian, but without one fatal flaw - SystemD
