frequently-answered questions:

onelove from debuan forum question?

Will you release an 100% Free Devuan system without any proprietary software included, to be approved by the F.S.F. as an entirely free distro?

Some of the Devuan developers applaud such an initiative and are well intentioned to facilitate it.

As of now there is one Devuan derivative aiming to be 100% Free: https://gnuinos.org53. Two more are being planned by core Devuan developers: https://heads.dyne.org16 and http://dynebolic.org17.

As s those efforts consolidate a common kernel build and core application space, Devuan will provide a base system which is 100% Free and facilitates the creation of more 100% Free derivatives.

I DOWNLOADED DEBUAN. INSTALLED MYSELF AND SATISFIED SO FAR WITH IT! MY TRISQUEL IS NOT THERE ANY MORE. I SEE A DEBIAN RIVALRY AND REPLACEMENT!

It is stable enough, it runs real good in one of my machine, including I was able to configure my canon printer. The difference in my opinion it does not have systmd packages, all are been filter and free, that is a big plus to me.

What problem have you faced when using systemd?

Systemd better be filter in Trisquel. If it is not done, then the water taste like crap, and I hope that is what their doing....

So, basically, you are part of these crowd hating systemd without any real argument.

Negative, my argument, as long those code lines for use with systemd are been filter properly, and the questionable code that does not follow the FSF regulations is deleted. But in my personal taste, I will not trust. I prefer Devuan GNU+Linux which is a fork of Debian without systemd.

Yes! that is my argument!
Is my choice and opinion.

What "questionable code that does not follow the FSF regulations"? Systemd entirely is distributed under the GNU LGPL, Parabola has been using it since 2012, Trisquel 8 will use it, and the FSF lists it in its directory: https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Systemd

That is cool, what ever rocks your banana boat, for me Devuan works great, by me Selecting my newest flavor of GNU-LINUX, it is like visiting a new ice-cream parlor, is all about TASTING different flavors and THE variety of colors and taste a like....

Maybe in the future, someone will develop a SysteMB and not md..
You know why?
a systeMB?
There is no magic banana but a split banana..

Yes I have
One the Public key, and the private key.
The passphrase entered should be a tough password. It can contain spaces, there's no limit on its length, but of course you will need to remember it.

Read about it:

any more questions darling,? and I know what you are trying to implicate with your questioning....

I'm allergic to use any password that is related Systemd...

The pc that is using debuan is an I-3, 1150socket Intel, 8meg ram ddr-3 class. Im using a VGA CARD with 4 meg ram made BY palit taiwan.
The network card is a pci CARD slot, made by tplink with a gigabyte lan card.

I tested the video drivers that are friendly with debuan, streaming movies and shows is great so far, I'm using the Mozilla version that gives you the option.

The test for me was using gimp and for my surprise after a few photo editing works great, no hiccups.
I'm going to test this weekend SOME games to check the video card. basically all the software installed is FSF, or it is GNU Affero General Public License.

talk to you later on my results

I actually thinking of running freeslack into my other desktop, I will dig later about it, what is all about "freeslack". I use slack before, until, when I discovered the FSF programs, is funny and hilarious, slack was. how my introduction to "LINUX" started.... On a simple laptop that I did not want to throw away but to replace the darn xp windows os.
